El asiento o
Nido
está sustentado por una base de
madera de fresno que es el resultado de un artesanal
trabajo de carpintería. Como si de las ramas de árbol se
tratara, la parte superior de las patas abraza y rodea el
asiento. Como alternativa,
Rafa
presenta una variante
con pata de metal lacado con un singular acabado
rugoso. Los acabados disponibles son: negro, gris y
marrón.
El textil que recubre el asiento está disponible en
dos versiones (con cremallera o con vivo). La versión
con cremallera perimetral es más mullida y permite
desenfundar la parte interior de la butaca. La versión
con vivo es totalmente fija y con un tapizado más tenso.
La parte exterior del asiento está facetada para
remarcar todas sus líneas. En contraposición, la parte
interior es mucho más suave, mullida y acogedora.
The seat or “nest” is supported by a hand-crafted ash
wood frame or metal feet in a matte finish. The upper
part provides “branches” into which the comfortable seat
is fixed.
The upholstery is available in two versions: with a zip or
with piping. The version with a zip is soft and loose and
enables the seating area to be removed. However, the
version with piping is fixed and pulled tight. Both the zip
and piping are always in black. The back and sides of the
upholstered area are tailored to show off the chair’s lines
whereas the seating area is soft and cosy.
