B&B Italia si è affermata sin dalla sua nascita, nel 1966, azienda leader a livello
internazionale nel settore dell’arredamento contemporaneo.

la squadra vincente che, insieme al Centro Ricerche e Sviluppo interno all’azienda,
ha contribuito al successo internazionale del marchio.
Punto di forza, oltre alla ricerca formale, sono da sempre la sperimentazione
tecnologica e l’innovazione, basti pensare che B&B Italia è la stata la prima al
mondo a mettere a punto la tecnica del poliuretano schiumato a freddo in stampo,
innovando radicalmente la costruzione degli imbottiti.

The vocation to innovation and technological experimentation in addition to
aesthetics research, are the strenghts and strategic elements for the company’s
development policy. In fact, B&B Italia was the first company in the world to perfect
the technique of cold polyurethane foam mouldings, which radically changed
the way upholstered furnishings were built.
