Sembra plasmato da un artista ma nasce in realtà dallo studio dei modelli in 3D e
dalle ricerche digitali. Ha l’aspetto di un monolite sul quale la mano del progettista
è intervenuta per sottrarre, smussare, plasmare.
Il suo andamento irregolare è in funzione del comfort, le cuciture a contrasto che
lo percorrono ne sottolineano il disegno e il movimento. Sintetizza manualità e
tecnologia, solidità e robustezza, unite a una notevole flessibilità d’uso che deriva
dalla sua ampia gamma compositiva.
It conveys the impression of having been moulded by an artist but actually derives
from a study of 3D models and digital research. It seems a monolith that has been
shaped by subtraction, rounded and moulded by the designer.
The irregular shape enhances comfort, the contrasting seams define the design and
movement. Bend Sofa combines manual skills and technology, solidity and strength,
along with considerable flexibility in terms of use ensured by the extensive range
of models.
